Caretaker, the DEGEN tipping app, is operated by Lucifers Caretaker, @lucifercaretaker (Farcaster ID 1450388). Contact that profile for privacy questions or deletion requests. The operator’s jurisdiction is not specified.
What we use
We use your Farcaster ID and verified wallet address to identify your account and associate submitted tips with you. Submitted tip history, including recipients, amounts, optional public messages, network, transaction references, and confirmation status, is stored using Neon database hosting.
On the web, an opaque session cookie keeps you signed in after you verify your wallet. The app does not need your wallet seed phrase or private key.
Creator and safety preferences
Tipping statistics are calculated from confirmed tips. We store creator profile customization, block and mute preferences, and abuse reports privately in Neon. Custom quick-tip amounts and recovery transaction references are saved in this browser.
Older Caretaker records
Older versions stored daily-care progress, encouragement messages, and reminder preferences. Those features are no longer part of the current product, but their existing private records remain until they are deleted. Contact the operator above about access or deletion.
What is public
Confirmed tips appear in the public tip feed. Pending and failed submissions are private to the account that submitted them. Blockchain transfers, wallet addresses, and transaction details are public and permanent on their settlement network. Every new Caretaker tip settles on Base Mainnet.
Providers
Farcaster services provide profile and identity information. Blockchain connection providers handle transaction and confirmation requests. Neon and app hosting providers process the information needed to operate the service and may receive ordinary connection information such as IP addresses.
Retention and your choices
We retain account and submitted tip records as needed to run the app, show your history, and prevent duplicate records. You can ask the operator to access, correct, or delete app-stored information through the contact profile above. Some records may need to be retained where legally required. Deleting app records cannot remove blockchain transactions or copies held by other providers.
